Fleetwood Southwind Motorhome

This Fleetwood Southwind, Model 32H, Motorhome has had no pets in its history.  The
coach is built on a Ford chassis, featuring a 460 CID gas engine with 61,500 miles.  The
four speed shifts smoothly.  The chassis contains a 75-gallon fuel tank, 80-gallon fresh
water tank, and 40-gallon black and gray water tanks.  The 24-gallon chassis mounted
propane tank provides fuel to the stove, oven, two-way refrigerator, furnace and a 6-
gallon hot water tank.

The chassis also houses an “Onan” 4,000 watt microlite gas engine generator with only
127 hours operation.

GFWR rating of 17,000 lbs. includes a 4470-load capacity.  The 3500-hitch capacity
results in GCWR of 20,500 lbs.

The chassis is equipped with “Safe Steer” feature and an “Ultraguard” ½ “thick, solid rubber stone shield,
“not a hula skirt”,  protects the tow vehicle.

The coach exterior is equipped with 7 basement storage compartments.  A rear-mounted
ladder provide access roof mounted air conditioning unit.

A 16 foot awning plus three 4 feet window awning provide a shaded outside area and
comfortable interior.  Electric retractable provide easy entrance to the interior thru the
side door.

The driver/passenger compartment includes a driver entry door, easy read instrument
panel, tilt steering wheel, power steering and brakes, cruise control, remote heated
exterior mirror controls, AM/FM stereo with cassette, CB radio and cold dash air
conditioner.  Three swivel captain chairs, plus a coach that makes into a bed comprise the
living area.  A 19 inch color TV is located between the front seats and is connected to a
VCR and TV antenna booster.

The kitchen features a 3-burner stove with oven, a 1250 watt microwave oven, built-in
coffee maker, double stainless steel sink with single lever faucet and a 2-door refrigerator
that runs on either electric or propane power.  The dinette also makes into a bed.

The bathroom includes a new fresh water flush toilet, sink, 3 compartment medicine
cabinet, and storage cabinet under the sink with full size drawer.  The standup shower
with overhead skylight is mounted over the tub.

The rear bedroom includes a queen size bed with underneath storage, a hanging closet
with 2 full deep drawers, overhead cabinets with reading lights and 2 nightstands with
drawers and lamps.

A “Fan-fastic” vent fan and thermostatically controlled furnace provide fresh air ventilation and a warm comfortable interior.

Judging this motorhome with others of the same vintage, we consider this coach to be
great condition.

NOTE:  The Southwind was for sale 4 years ago, we decided to keep it and we’ve enjoyed our time with it.

Since this original ad we’ve had the brakes done, 6 new tires and an alignment.  It has recently passed N.J. State inspection and runs, handles, brakes great.

All basement doors work and lock with the exception of one on the passenger’s side.

The interior is naturally a little further worn but it’s still all-original with nothing broken or missing..
